CoolSculpting in Gangnam, Seoul
Controlled cooling that gradually reduces pinchable fat on the belly, flanks, thighs and arms — no needles, no incisions and no downtime.
What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat-reduction treatment based on cryolipolysis: an applicator draws in a pinchable fat bulge and cools it to a controlled temperature that injures fat cells while sparing the skin. The damaged fat cells are cleared naturally by the body over the following weeks. Results develop gradually over 4–12 weeks.
It works best for people near their goal weight with distinct, pinchable bulges on the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms or under the chin. It is not a weight-loss treatment.

CoolSculpting questions we hear most
Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.
Does CoolSculpting really work?
Yes, for pinchable fat. Clinical use shows a gradual reduction in the treated bulge over 1–3 months. It does not reduce body weight and works best near your goal weight.
Is CoolSculpting painful?
You feel intense cold and pulling for the first few minutes, then the area goes numb. Afterwards it can feel tender, tingly or itchy for days to a few weeks.
What are the risks?
Temporary redness, bruising, numbness and tenderness are common. A rare side effect, paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, causes the treated fat to enlarge and may need surgical correction. Your doctor will explain this before treatment.
How many sessions do I need?
Many areas need one or two rounds spaced about 6–8 weeks apart. Your doctor will advise based on the bulge size.
Is fat freezing or fat-dissolving injection better?
Freezing suits distinct, pinchable bulges with no downtime; fat-dissolving injections suit smaller or irregular pockets and areas an applicator cannot fit. Many plans combine both.
