Fraxel laser in Gangnam, Seoul
Non-ablative fractional laser that renews texture, softens fine lines and fades sun damage while the skin surface stays intact — planned by MIN Clinic physicians for your skin type and schedule.
What is Fraxel laser treatment?
Fraxel is a non-ablative fractional laser that delivers thousands of microscopic columns of heat into the dermis while leaving the surrounding skin untouched. The skin repairs each micro-zone with new collagen, gradually improving fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, sun damage and uneven tone. Because the surface is not removed, recovery is shorter than with ablative CO2 resurfacing.
Most patients see smoother, brighter skin after one or two sessions, with deeper change after a series of 3–4 treatments about a month apart. Density and energy are adjusted to your skin type to limit the risk of post-laser pigmentation.

Fraxel treats only a fraction of the skin at each session, so healing is fast and results accumulate.
Micro-thermal zones
Tiny columns of laser heat reach the dermis without removing the surface.
Collagen remodelling
The skin replaces treated zones with fresh collagen over 2–3 months.
Pigment shedding
Damaged pigment is pushed up and flakes off as fine bronzing.
Cumulative series
Each session treats new skin; 3–4 sessions give the fullest result.

Fraxel laser questions we hear most
Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.
How many Fraxel sessions do I need?
Most people need 3–4 sessions about four weeks apart for scars and fine lines. Texture and glow often improve after the first one or two sessions.
How long is Fraxel downtime?
Expect redness and swelling for 1–2 days and dry, flaking skin for about 2–5 days. Makeup can usually be worn after a day or two once the skin is calm.
Is Fraxel safe for Asian or darker skin?
Yes, with conservative density and strict sun protection. Darker skin has a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, so settings are adjusted and pre- and post-care matter.
Fraxel or CO2 laser — which is better for acne scars?
Fraxel suits mild to moderate scars with less downtime; CO2 fractional laser goes deeper for pronounced scars. See our acne scar options.
Can I fly home after Fraxel?
Yes. Flying is fine the next day; keep the skin moisturised and use sunscreen. Allow 5–7 days in Seoul if you want the flaking phase to pass before travel.
