Quick answer

What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift is a non-surgical facial rejuvenation that combines hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and botulinum toxin (Botox) to replace lost volume, support sagging tissue and relax wrinkle-forming muscles, giving a refreshed, lifted look in a single 30–45 minute injection session. Improvement is visible straight away and settles over about two weeks.

It suits early to moderate signs of ageing — hollow cheeks or temples, deepening nasolabial folds, a softening jawline. Results typically last 9–18 months depending on the products and areas treated, and hyaluronic filler can be dissolved if ever needed.

Treatment areas

Where a liquid facelift lifts

Your doctor maps volume loss and muscle activity first, then treats only the areas that make a visible difference.

01

Cheeks & mid-face

Restores support that lifts the lower face.

02

Temples

Fills hollows that make the face look tired.

03

Nasolabial & marionette lines

Softens folds from nose to mouth and chin.

04

Jawline & chin

Sharpens the contour and balances the profile.

A good fit if you…

  • notice hollowing or flattening of the cheeks and temples
  • have deepening folds around the nose and mouth
  • want an instant result with little downtime
  • prefer a reversible, adjustable approach

Consider alternatives if you…

  • mainly have loose, thin skin — consider Ultherapy or thread lift
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • have an active skin infection or cold sore in the area
  • have a known allergy to filler components or lidocaine

How it works

Volume and muscle, treated together

A liquid facelift works because ageing is both a loss of support and an overactive pull downward.

01

HA filler

Hyaluronic acid gel restores the deep fat pads that once held the cheeks and jawline up.

02

Botulinum toxin

Relaxes muscles such as the platysma and depressors that drag the corners of the mouth and jaw down.

03

Cannula technique

Blunt cannulas are often used in deeper planes to reduce bruising.

04

Natural balance

Small amounts in several areas look more natural than a large amount in one.

FAQ

Liquid facelift questions we hear most

Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.

How long does a liquid facelift last?

Most results last about 9–18 months. Botox in the same session wears off sooner, around 3–4 months, so it is often topped up between filler sessions.

Does a liquid facelift hurt?

Numbing cream is applied first and most fillers contain lidocaine, so most patients describe pressure rather than pain. The session takes about 30–45 minutes.

What are the risks?

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common and short-lived. Rare but serious risks include infection and vascular occlusion, which is why injections are performed by physicians who know facial anatomy. Hyaluronic filler can be dissolved if needed.

Can I fly home after a liquid facelift?

Yes, most patients fly within a day or two. We recommend treatment early in your trip so your doctor can review you before you leave.

Liquid facelift or thread lift?

Fillers restore lost volume, while a thread lift repositions tissue that has descended. Many patients benefit from both, which your doctor will discuss at consultation.
