Microneedling in Gangnam, Seoul
Controlled micro-channels that switch on the skin’s own repair process to soften acne scars, refine pores and smooth texture — with a doctor-set depth and only a day or two of redness.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a collagen-induction treatment in which fine sterile needles create thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. The healing response stimulates new collagen and elastin, gradually improving acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines and uneven texture. Radiofrequency microneedling adds heat at the needle tips for stronger remodelling. Most people need 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
At MIN Clinic, needle depth, energy and any infused serum (such as exosomes or growth factors) are chosen by the doctor after examining scar type and skin thickness.

Microneedling questions we hear most
Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.
Does microneedling work for acne scars?
Yes, especially for rolling and shallow boxcar scars. A series of 3–4 sessions gradually softens them; deep ice-pick scars usually need other methods such as TCA CROSS or punch techniques.
How much downtime is there?
Redness lasts about 1–3 days and skin may feel dry. Most people return to work the next day with gentle makeup after 24 hours if the doctor agrees.
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes, so most people feel only pressure and mild prickling.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Collagen keeps building for about three months after each session.
Is RF microneedling better than regular microneedling?
RF microneedling adds heat, which tends to give stronger scar and pore improvement and some tightening. Regular microneedling is gentler. Your doctor will recommend one based on your skin.
