Stem cell therapy in Gangnam, Seoul
Regenerative injections prepared the same day from your own blood — concentrating stem cells, growth factors and platelets to support collagen, elasticity and scalp health.
What is stem cell therapy at MIN Clinic?
MIN Clinic’s stem cell therapy is an autologous regenerative treatment: a small amount of your own blood is processed the same day in a closed, sterile kit to concentrate stem cells, growth factors, SDF-1α, white blood cells and platelets, which are then injected into the skin or scalp to support collagen and elastin renewal. No cells are cultured or modified, so the process stays same-day.
It is used mainly for skin ageing, texture and scars on the face and neck, and for thinning hair. Results build gradually as tissue remodels, and a doctor will tell you honestly what to expect for your concern.

Three ways we use stem cells
Your doctor chooses the method according to your goals.
Skin regeneration
Injected into the dermis of the face or neck for elasticity, fine lines, tone and scars.
Scalp & hair
Delivered at hair-root level to support thicker, stronger hair in thinning areas.
Intravenous infusion
A concentrate given by IV as a general wellness option; discussed case by case.
A good fit if you…
- want natural, gradual anti-ageing using your own cells
- have loss of elasticity, fine lines or dull tone
- have scars or texture you want to improve
- have early thinning hair
Consider alternatives if you…
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
- have a blood disorder, active cancer or are on anticoagulants
- have an active skin infection in the treatment area
- expect an instant lift — see Ultherapy

View more before & afterFive regenerative components
MIN Clinic uses a patented extraction system that delivers these components together.
Stem cells
Versatile cells involved in tissue repair.
Growth factors
Signal cell growth and support stem-cell activation.
SDF-1α
A signalling molecule that guides stem cells to where they are needed.
White cells & platelets
Immune cells plus platelets whose α-granules carry healing factors.
Same-day cells vs cultured cells
Because cells are concentrated and used on the same day, there is no culturing stage. Cultured cell products typically need 4–6 weeks of laboratory growth, which adds handling and contamination risk.
- Closed, double-centrifugation system: blood is processed twice inside a single closed kit to minimise external contamination.
- Certified kit: the TriCell PRP kit used is certified by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) and has also been approved in China (NMPA) and reviewed in Japan (PMDA).
- Single-use and sterile: every kit is disposable, so there is no reuse or cross-contamination.
- Your own cells: using autologous material lowers the risk of allergic or immune reactions, although bruising, swelling and tenderness can still occur.
Some patients ask about wider wellness effects such as energy, sleep or immunity. Evidence for these uses is still limited, so your doctor will discuss realistic expectations before any intravenous treatment.

Stem cell therapy questions we hear most
Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.
Is this real stem cell therapy?
It uses a concentrate of cells from your own blood, including stem and progenitor cells, growth factors and platelets, processed the same day without culturing. It is not a cultured or donor stem cell product.
How should I prepare?
Avoid aspirin-based medicines beforehand as they affect bleeding. Tell your doctor about all medications and health conditions.
What aftercare is needed?
You can wash, shower and wear makeup from the next day. For two weeks avoid patches, anti-inflammatory drugs and steroids; if soreness is uncomfortable, acetaminophen (paracetamol) is usually suitable.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the area and goal. Many skin and scalp plans use a short series of sessions; your doctor will advise after consultation.
How does it compare with exosome or PRP?
PRP focuses on platelets, while this system also concentrates white cells and SDF-1α. Exosome treatments use cell-derived signalling vesicles rather than your own cells. See PRP injections.
