Pore tightening in Gangnam, Seoul
A plan that treats why your pores look large — excess oil, clogging or loss of firmness — using RF microneedling, laser, peels and deep cleansing for smoother, more refined skin.
How are enlarged pores treated?
Enlarged pores are treated by addressing their cause: excess sebum and clogging are reduced with peels, deep cleansing and laser, while pores widened by lost firmness are tightened by stimulating collagen with RF microneedling or fractional laser. Pores cannot be closed permanently, but a series of treatments makes them look noticeably smaller. Most people need 3–5 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart.
At MIN Clinic, AI 3D skin analysis and a doctor’s examination help separate oil-driven from elasticity-driven pores, so the plan is built for your skin.

Three types of enlarged pores
Most people have a mix; the dominant type decides the plan.
Oily pores
Stretched by sebum, mainly on the nose and T-zone.
Clogged pores
Blackheads and congestion make pores look bigger.
Sagging pores
Teardrop-shaped pores on the cheeks from lost firmness.
Post-acne pores
Pores widened by past inflammation or scarring.
A good fit if you…
- have visible pores on the nose, cheeks or forehead
- have oily or congested skin
- notice pores becoming elongated with age
- want gradual refinement with little downtime
Consider alternatives if you…
- have active, inflamed acne — treat it first with acne facials
- are sunburnt or about to have heavy sun exposure
- have an active cold sore or infection
- expect pores to disappear completely

Pore tightening questions we hear most
Can’t find your answer? Message our English-speaking team on WhatsApp.
Can enlarged pores be permanently shrunk?
Pores cannot be closed, but they can look much smaller. Reducing oil and congestion and rebuilding collagen around the pore gives a lasting improvement that is maintained with occasional sessions and good home care.
What is the best treatment for large pores on the nose?
Nose pores are usually oil-driven, so peels, extraction and Aqua Peel help most, sometimes with laser. Cheek pores from lost firmness respond better to RF microneedling.
How many sessions do I need?
Most people need 3–5 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Many notice smoother skin after the first one or two.
Is there downtime?
Peels and Aqua Peel have little or none. RF microneedling or fractional laser cause 1–3 days of redness.
How can I keep pores small at home?
Use a gentle cleanser, a salicylic-acid product a few times a week, non-comedogenic moisturiser and daily sunscreen, since UV breaks down the collagen that supports pores.
