Is dermabrasion still used for scars?
Yes, but less often than before. Fractional lasers and RF microneedling give comparable texture improvement with shorter recovery, so dermabrasion is now reserved for selected scars where a physician feels it is the better tool.
How long is the recovery after dermabrasion?
