How long does Botox last?
Botox typically lasts about 3–6 months. Jaw and calf treatments often last a little longer than lines around the eyes.
Will I look frozen?
Not when dosed carefully. The aim is to soften lines while keeping natural expression.
What should I avoid after Botox?
Avoid lying flat, rubbing the area, saunas and strenuous exercise for about 4 hours to a day.
Is Botox safe?
In experienced hands it is very safe. Temporary effects can include small bruises, headache or, rarely, a drooping brow or eyelid that resolves as the toxin wears off.
What is the difference between Botox and Xeomin?
Both are botulinum toxin type A. Xeomin contains no accessory proteins, which some doctors prefer for frequent treatment.
